About Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS 2
Founded in 1997, it is the best private university in Malaysia. The university's campus is located in Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. The university is wholly owned by Petronas, Malaysia's national oil and gas company.
UTP offers a wide range of programs in engineering, science, and technology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It aims to produce graduates with leadership qualities and communication skills.
In addition to its interest in conducting extensive research activities in collaboration with Petronas and other institutions locally and internationally, in three research areas, namely smart and sustainable living, sustainable energy, and emerging digital technologies. Campus Life at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
The university has many modern teaching and research laboratories, to ensure the efficient delivery of academic education, in addition to supporting pioneering research and development.

Admission to Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
Entry requirements vary depending on the stage the student is studying at, as follows:
Foundation
O-Level OR IGCSE OR other equivalent qualification.
undergraduate programmes
Foundation in a relevant field.
Minimum final CGPA of 3.00/4.00
A-Level OR other equivalent qualification.
Postgraduate Programs
BSc Degree in Engineering Technology discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50-4.00 or equivalent in the relevant field.
If the degree has a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, the student must have 5 years of working experience & pass the UTP internal rigorous assessment.
Candidates with BSc Degree qualifications from different disciplines must undergo pre-requisite courses.
