Rising of Turkish universities in the Times Rankings 2024

Some Turkish universities rose in the Times World Rankings 2024-2025

Turkish universities witnessed fierce competition in the Times rankings for the year 2025, as Bahçeşehir and Kadir Has University were able to excel and reserve their place among the best universities in Türkiye. This progress reflects the improvement of the level of higher education in Türkiye in general.

Bahçeşehir University emerged in the Times 2025 rankings by achieving seventh place among Türkiye's universities, and internationally it was ranked 800-1000.

 While Kadir Has University achieved a qualitative leap by entering the list of the top 1000 universities in the world, and thus entered among 12 Turkish universities in that rank, this diversity in achievements reflects the strong scientific approach that characterizes each university.

Kadir Has University also announced on its website that it has ranked 8th among Turkish universities and 834th among universities in the world in terms of education and scientific research. It has also advanced in the research index to become fifth in Turkey and 440th in the world’s universities.

It is expected that the rise in the rankings of Bahçeşehir and Kadir Has Universities will contribute to attracting more international students and academic talents, and enhancing Turkey’s reputation as an attractive educational destination for students wishing to study in Turkey.
