Announcement the Date of TR-YÖS Exam in Turkey 2023

Foreign students in Turkey need to pass several exams to have the chance to enter Turkish public universities, and the most important of these exams is the YÖS exam.

The institution responsible for organizing exams in Turkey, ÖSYM, has announced the registration start date for the TR-YÖS exam. Registration for the YÖS exam will start from September 15-28, 2023, and the exam will be held on November 21, 2023.

Turkish YÖS Exam 

• The Turkish YÖS exam is one of the important exams for foreign students wishing to enroll in Turkish government universities. This exam measures the level of the student and their mental abilities in mathematics in all its sections, and includes intelligence questions.

• The YÖS exam lasts for 100 minutes and will be presented in six different languages, including Arabic and English, as announced by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK).

• The result of the YÖS exam is very important for students as it determines their possibility of admission to Turkish public universities according to the percentage they obtain.

• The YÖS exam is a local internal exam not recognized worldwide like IELTS and TOEFL exams.
