Nowadays, every Turkish university has several affiliated or autonomous vocational schools. Moreover, many international students seek to study at Turkish vocational schools to refine their practical skills in different fields.

What is Vocational schools or Technical Education?

Vocational education aims to graduate the workforce required in the labor market and various fields. For example, factories need skilled and knowledgeable workers and technicians. This education can be named vocational or technical, based on the work field.

This education was limited to workshops, factory employment, or plumbing. However, with technological advancement, it has become the focus of the attention of many developed countries, such as Germany, which considers this profession one of the most important professions in the country. In recent years, the number of technical education schools has increased due to the need for technicians in various fields such as medicine, computer science, and nuclear energy.

Technical education has many names, including summer, diploma, vocational, and technical schools.
