About Okan University
Okan University, founded in Istanbul in Turkey in 1999, was the first university to be a member of the International Student Exchange network, allowing students to be part of an exchange program with more than 400 international institutions. Accommodation at Okan University
If you want to live at Okan University, we have good news for you. The school offers accommodation for more than 1500 students in five fully-functional dormitories on its main campus. You can choose to either stay in a single, double or quadruple room, based on your preference.
The impressive residential halls are fully equipped, with study areas, TV rooms and a medical center for emergencies. Students can also buy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the cafés and restaurants in the dorms. They can also request laundry and cleaning services, offered by the university at a low cost.
Okan University Dormitories Requirements and Costs
To join the student dorms at Okan university, you'll need to complete a safety certificate which contains tests for Hepatitis A, B, C and Non HAVIgm. It should also include tests for HbsAg, Non-Hbs and Anti-Hbc.
When it comes to the Dormitories fees, a single room will cost you around 10,100 $ per month, while a double room will cost around 6400 $ per month. On the other hand, a quadruple room is cheaper, costing students around 3500 $ per month.

Campus Life at Okan University
Campus life is considered critical at Okan University and the university considers social and cultural events an important part of the curriculum. The school consistently organizes lectures and workshops held by eminent scholars and public figures.
The school also has many student clubs that students are encouraged to join. For example, a popular club is the Tourism Student Club that organizes daily trips to historical sites and tourist spots.
