Boycott of Starbucks branches at Sabahattin Zaim University  and al-Biruni universities in Türkiye

Sabahattin Zaim University and Al-Biruni University in Turkey decided to close the Starbucks branches on their campuses, in response to their administration’s support for the Israeli army’s aggression against the Gaza Strip.

This decision comes within a series of decisions and statements made by some Turkish universities as a condemnation of the war on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and an expression of their position rejecting the genocide to which children and innocent people are subjected there.

The head of the Turkish Higher Education Council also stated earlier that Turkey stands by the just struggle of the Palestinian people and their adherence to their land.

In turn, StudyFans has announced since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip that it stands by the Palestinians in Gaza and rejects the brutal aggression by the Israeli occupation army.
