Istinye University Emerges as a Leading Hub in Engineering According to THE World Rankings 2025

The Times Higher Education (THE) announced its 2025 global rankings of the best universities across 11 different fields. Istinye University achieved a notable accomplishment by securing the 428th position globally in Engineering, within the 400-500 range. The university also ranked 7th nationally among 64 Turkish universities in Engineering, while topping the list in "International Outlook" and securing second place in "Research Quality." Additionally, it ranked 6th in "International Outlook" in the field of Medicine and Health Sciences.

In the global rankings, which included 1,488 institutions from 97 countries, Istinye University stood out as one of 26 Turkish universities to make the list of the top 1,000 in Engineering. The university achieved results close to prestigious institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT in indicators such as "Student-to-Academic Staff Ratio" and "Research Productivity." It also scored 98.2 out of 100 in "Research Strength" and 99.1 out of 100 in "International Research Collaboration Outputs."
