Admission requirements to Monash University

• International students need a student permit (visa) to study in Malaysia, issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

• For undergraduate and postgraduate students, a student permit must be applied for as early as 4 months before the start of their course.

• For research students, the application must be submitted two months before the start of the course, and the course start date should be amended in the offer letter if it is less than that period.

After leaving the airport in Malaysia

• Complete the medical examination within 7 days of the pre-EMGS clinic. 

• Your original passport

• A copy of your passport information page

• Health examination report

• Approval letter

• Pledge letter

• Three passport size photos

• Completed IM12 form.

• Pay the toll fee of RM300 and provide proof of payment
