Medipol University Exam for Preparatory Year in 2023

Medipol University has announced the date for the English language exam for students enrolled in English-language programs. If students pass this exam, the university will exempt them from the preparatory year for the language that precedes their major.

According to Medipol University, the exam will be held in two stages face-to-face. The first stage will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. If the student scores between 60-75 points, they can proceed to the second stage. 

The second stage is an oral exam that will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The names of successful students in the first stage will be published on the university's website on September 27, 2023.

• The first stage consists of listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.

• The second stage is an oral exam that measures the student's ability to speak English.

The English language exam will be held at the IMU Kavacık Campus South and North Campus at 9:00 am.

Medipol University English Language Exam Requirements

According to Medipol University, there are several requirements that students must be aware of:

• Students should consider traffic congestion as there is expected to be congestion due to the location of the campus. Therefore, students should arrive at least an hour before the exam starts, and they are responsible for any delays.

• The student's email must be active as the class will not be identified by name but by student ID number. Students must know the class they will take before.

• Bring a valid ID card, passport, or driver's license only. No other documents are accepted.

• Bring a soft-headed pencil and eraser.

• Computers, mobile phones, smartwatches, headphones, etc., are not allowed and must be given to friends or your parents outside of the exam place.

• Parents are not allowed to enter the exam place except for students with special needs. The university must be informed of their condition by September 12 through its website.

• If a student does not attend or fails the exam, they must study the preparatory year for the language before starting their academic studies at the university.

Medipol University English Language Exam Results

• If a student scores 75 points or higher, they will be exempted from the preparatory year.

• Students who score 59 or lower in the first stage of the exam must attend the preparatory year.

• Students who score 74 or lower in the oral exam in the second stage must also attend the preparatory year.

• The results of the exam will be published on Medipol University's official website, and students must know their password.
